The project brief
The objective of this project was to replace the existing flat roof with a high-performance, durable roofing solution. The chosen material is the RubberBond™ FleeceBack™ EPDM Rubber Roofing System, supplied and fitted by Ideal Home Improvements. The new roof is weather resistant, thermal efficient, and is a long-term solution against leaks and wear.
Before
The original roof shows a worn flat roof with what appears to be an aging and deteriorating surface. The roof is covered with a layer which looks weathered and uneven in places, with signs of moss and vegetation growing along the edges, indicating water retention and poor drainage.
During
The top layer of the old roof has been stripped away, revealing a weathered and damaged wooden deck underneath. The wood appears discolored and stained, likely from water exposure over time. Some sections of the wood decking look warped and uneven, indicating potential rot or decay.
After
Here we have the newly replaced flat roof using the durable roofing solution RubberBond™ FleeceBack™ EPDM Rubber Roofing System.
